- Alberto Reyes
The acclaimed Uruguayan pianist Alberto Reyes who was hailed as ‘a musician who clearly hearkens back to the Golden Age of piano playing in the Romantic tradition’ after his 2012 Wigmore Hall debut, returns to London with a programme of masterworks by Franck, Schumann and Chopin.
His recent recordings of Chopin and Schumann were highly praised for his ‘full-bodied, colourful sonority, effortless technical apparatus and keen contrapuntal prowess’ (Gramophone), and for his ‘rare sense of wisdom and rapt concentration’ (BBC Music).
