An Evening with David Sedaris

You may have heard him on BBC Radio 4’s Meet David Sedaris or you might be one of the millions worldwide who have purchased or read one of his many books. After three sell-out runs here at Cadogan Hall and two sell-out Edinburgh Fringe Festival stints, Sedaris embarks on his first ever UK tour and we’re delighted to announce he’s returning to Cadogan Hall for what is sure to be one of the literary events of the year in the city.

David Sedaris will be signing copies of his books pre- and post-show.

‘David Sedaris isn’t a stand-up, or even much of a showman. But in his own dry and unassuming way, he’s one of the finest comic talents currently living on this planet.’ (The Guardian)

‘He has a Bennett-like way with a pause, and pitch perfect comedy timing…’ (The Scotsman) * * * *

‘Profanity seldom sounds this refined, phrases so expertly massaged, or laughs so lovingly engineered.’ (The Herald) * * * *

‘No, Sedaris isn’t a stand-up, but he’s certainly a masterful comic writer, whose modest delivery brings his words to hilarious life.’ (Chortle) * * * *
