Dame Kiri Te Kanawa makes a welcome return appearance this December. Accompanied by pianist Gary Matthewman (who appeared with Kiri recently in an episode of Downton Abbey), Kiri’s programme weaves a musical journey from Scarlatti and Handel arias, exquisite Liszt and Strauss songs, to familiar Puccini and dramatic Verdi arias, and quirky cabaret songs by American composer William Bolcom.

Kiri’s musical guests include the young singers Louise Alder, Phillip Rhodes, Galina Averina and Andri Björn Róbertsson, all of whom have been mentored by Dame Kiri, and are supported by the Kiri Te Kanawa Foundation.
