Svetlin Roussev – Leader of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France – is soloist in Haydn’s Violin Concerto in C and joins Ivo Stankov (Leader of Westminster Philharmonic Orchestra) for Bach’s Double Violin Concerto.

Scott Lygate gives the world premiere of the first UK concerto for the Contrabass Clarinet – Soul Searching – by the award-winning Bulgarian/British composer and conductor Martin Georgiev, who also conducts tonight’s concert.

Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and Brahms’ Psalm 13 complete the programme, featuring Bulgarian soprano Vania Vatralova-Stankov and English mezzo-soprano Charlotte Stephenson. They are joined by two of London’s top choirs, from St Paul’s Girls and Francis Holland Schools.

6.15 pm: Pre-concert multimedia event:
Bulgarian Opera Wonder and The Prayer of Boris Christov with Dr Magdalena Manolova PhD.
