A serial adulterer, Puccini was certainly fascinated by women! His passion found its way into his operas, with women taking the title roles in most of his best loved works. We’ll look at the huge and unprecedented variety in their characters, from good and gentle Mimi to icy and bloodthirsty Turandot and see how these extraordinary women are brought to life by Puccini’s music.
