- Theo Jackson
- Andy Davies
- Giazonne Reyes
- Marco Quarantotto
Theo and Andy have both made their own significant mark on the UK jazz scene. Today they appear together for the first time in celebration of a mutual idol, Chet Baker. Baker’s inimitable ‘West Coast’ style made a significant mark in the history of jazz and even to this day it still sounds as cool as ever.
Theo Jackson’s last album, Shoeless and the Girl, was released on US label Dot Time Records to acclaim. He has appeared at famous international venues including the Royal Albert Hall, the Kennedy Center and Queen Elizabeth Hall.
Andy Davies is the resident trumpeter at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and runs the jam session upstairs at the club every Wednesday. His previous portrayal of Chet Baker at the 2007 London Jazz Festival was brilliantly received.
_“One of the most interesting jazz vocalists and composers to emerge on the British scene in recent years,
Jackson can flit between ballads and rapid-fire scatting in the blink of an eye.”_ (Daily Telegraph)
“One of Britain’s finest jazz musicians and singers.” (Michael Wilson, Jazz FM)
