Hot dance music from the 1920’s and 1930’s.

The UK’s premier 1920s & 1930s dance band recorded their 40th anniversary concert at Cadogan Hall which has been aired frequently on Sky Arts TV to popular acclaim. The concert includes some of the hot tunes played by both Fletcher Henderson and Duke Ellington and orchestra, masterpieces from some of the great composers of the American Song Book, such as Irving Berlin and George Gershwin, as well as some of the greatest tunes from the British dance bands of the 1920s and 1930s.

All this is presented with the Orchestra’s inimitable style and panache, together with a good dose of British humour.

As one member of the audience put it: ‘Pure quality, great fun, extraordinary music, played by some of the finest musicians on the scene.’

Concert Duration:
approx. 2 hours
