Skunk Anansie have announced their first ever unplugged show at London’s Cadogan Hall this April.
With over 5 million album sales, Skunk Anansie have toured globally with such acts as U2, Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz and Rammstein, and in 1999, headlined the Glastonbury Festival.
Since coming out of hiatus in 2009 the band completed a sell-out European tour and have appeared at a series of summer festival shows including Download Festival and Pukklepop, as well as taken in headline shows at Rock In Roma and Orange Warsaw Festival. They were presented with the ESKA Award in Poland for Best International Rock Band.
Skunk Anansie recently released their new album Black Traffic, completed a sold out European arena tour and will be going on a big headline UK tour in March ahead of this very special unplugged show. Skin said:
‘We’re really looking forward to Skunk Anansie Unplugged, it’s going to be a really special show for us with loads more people onstage, re-worked classics and some songs we’ve never performed live before.’
Skunk Anansie are Skin (vocals), Ace (guitar), Cass Lewis (bass) and Mark Richardson (drums).
