‘Maria Friedman sings Sondheim’ first premiered during a run at New York’s Café Carlyle during 2003 and returned for another hugely successful run in 2006. The show has won rave reviews with the International Herald Tribune calling her ‘The greatest show singer of her generation’.
Olivier award-winning actress and songwriter Maria Friedman has appeared in productions of ‘Sunday in the Park with George’, ‘Passion’ and ‘Sweeney Todd’. She has also sung on recordings of ‘Merrily we Roll Along’, ‘Anyone can Whistle’ and ‘A Little Night Music’.
