The Thames Youth Orchestra, based in Kingston upon Thames, performs an exciting programme of nineteenth century orchestral masterpieces.

Opening with two classics of early German Romanticism the concert concludes with Borodin’s much-loved Second Symphony, a work which prompted his friend Musorgsky to write: “The strength of a lion is behind this symphony. Of all previous music I could at most place Beethoven’s Eroica beside it.”
