Thames Youth Orchestra returns to Cadogan Hall with a vibrant programme of twentieth century American orchestral classics. The concert presents three familiar masterpieces and places alongside them a rare opportunity outside the US to hear Roy Harris's extraordinary Third Symphony - a ruggedly dramatic, tautly argued single movement work which does much to justify its reputation as the greatest American symphony.
