Bach Christmas Oratorio
Bach gave to Leipzig in 1734 a set of six cantatas to tell the Christmas story, described in the autograph score as parts of a complete oratorio. The Choir of the 21st Century, formed in 2001, joins the English Chamber Orchestra for the first time for this glorious masterwork.
