'... Joseph Calleja's honeyed tenor as Nicias was not far off sensational'
Martin Kettle, The Guardian, 28 June 2007

'The evening's finest performance comes from Joseph Calleja as Nicias. It's not a long role but he makes it a star turn with immaculate singing.." The Stage

A recipient of the Herbert von Karajan Scholarship, Tatiana Lisnic has been engaged as a permanent guest artist at the Vienna State Opera since 2003 and has since performed with many of the major opera companies of the world.

'Both Ms. Lisnic and Mr. Calleja set themselves apart with outstanding vocal culture, which not only brought the individualistic timbre of their voices to full flower, but also united tasteful presentation and stylistic sensitivity to create an atmosphere of universal, elemental musicianship.'
Andreas Schubert, www.magazin.klassik.com, April 2006
