Beethoven: Fidelio
An international cast presents Beethoven's classic opera in concert with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonia Chorus and Queens' College Chapel Choir under the baton of brilliant young conductor, Madeleine Lovell. Fidelio's fundamental themes - liberty, love, justice and compassion - are brought to vibrant life in Beethoven's dramatic score. LLO is delighted to announce that world-renowned dramatic soprano, Elizabeth Connell, will be singing one of her signature roles with exciting young tenor, Jeffrey Lloyd-Roberts, as Florestan.
