To celebrate the 100th year anniversary of Spanish composer Albéniz’s death, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, together with the Institut Ramon Llull and Gramophone Records, presents a gala performance featuring a selection of the very best of Albéniz's music.
Pianist and composer Isaac Albéniz (1860-1909) is one of the most important international figures in the history of Spanish music. His music is widely considered central to the piano literature of the twentieth century, and the summit of all Spanish piano music.
This special concert, led by the brillant Spanish conductor Carlos Checa, will also feature the supremely talented pianist, José Menor.
