Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto
Tchaikovsky Symphony No.5
Following Park's Arirang UK Premiere, award-winning Ukrainian-born violinist Dima Tkachenko, performs Tchaikovsky’s Cossack-dancing Violin Concerto. Initially rejected as “too difficult to play”, Tchaikovsky’s sumptuous violin work has secured its rightful place as one of the world’s greatest concertos.
The talented conductor Young Chil Lee, who already holds three major positions with European orchestras, takes the helm and conducts the concert’s grand finale, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.5.
