FREE EXHIBITION: The One LP Project
Portraits by William Ellis

Photographer William Ellis met with jazz musicians throughout the UK and America to create this unique series of photographic portraits of artists holding an album that is of fundamental importance to them. Each portrait is accompanied by a short interview which explores the meaning and value for the subject. The outcome is a compelling exploration of jazz heritage and its influence on contemporary artists, including Kenny Burrell, Gregory Porter, Benny Golson, Jimmy Heath, Carol Kidd, Soweto Kinch, Peter King, Jack Bruce, Al Jarreau, Annie Ross, Robert Glasper, and Marcus Miller.
